The Museum building has been constructed on private land belonging to Vu Dan Tan’s family using family funds, namely, those of Vu Dan Tan’s widow, Natalia Kraevskaia, and Vu Thi Nhu Sha, for construction and building equipment.
For the Museum’s operation, Museum managers and the Board of Advisers rely on diversified funding sources. The Museum aims to partially fund itself by developing a system of self-sustainability, which will include grant applications, renting space for outside events, arranging paid artist residencies, running membership and subscription programs, and hosting specialist seminars. We also intend to involve interns and volunteers who will support the museum's activities without incurring salary costs.
Still, the Museum will need additional financial aid for its operation (see the strategic plan), planned research and educational activities (research publications, grants for young researchers, free guided tours and workshops for schoolchildren and students, art events for the local community’s needs, fees for speakers and interpreters at seminars, round tables and art talks, etc.)
For this we are looking for Sponsors’ support, which will allow us to implement our mission in various spheres of the Museum’s activity.
